Norwich City Points Per Game when Sargent starts: 1.55

Norwich City Points Per Game when Sargent does not start: 1.06

I think he's ready to take it to next level when healthy but it's time to prove it!

You're gonna piss off the analytics nerds who read this blog (they hate on/off) but fuck it the data supports my agenda, we move.

Every time I see Ream in the lineup I yell about how he's too old, he's not gonna be in the World Cup squad, stop calling him up. Do you think he's gonna be here in 15 months? He's 37! By then he'll be... 38!

I went to Italy during the 2022 World Cup and watched the semifinals in Palermo, where my grand-grandfather emigrated from, and I loved that city so much (I'm sure it's very different in July) and so having a USMNT player at Palermo has been something for me to cheer for, but precious little cheering. Man, I even learned how the Serie B promotion playoffs work...

i saw Mckennie in the Juve lineups at left back and read how high his coach is on him to put him anywhere in the field... not sure how he actually played in that position. would Weah be a better option than Mckennie at left back?

McKennie's too important to our midfield to push him to left (or right) back.

Also, Juve's record with Wes there was not great, while guys like Ream and Arfsten are starting there every week for good teams. So Wes at LB doesn't make much sense to me.

I get why everyone likes Reyna. We've all seen peak Reyna. But like the guy who's been married 5x, after a while you have to start to look at yourself (or in this case Reyna), and not the women(coaches) who came before as the problem.

For me, when it comes to Gio, it's all attitude. It's almost like Freddy Adu all over again. The guy has talent but seemingly 0 desire to work hard. If he was truly elite, he'd see the field SOMEWHERE. Of course I hope I'm wrong and he pops off; but I think that whole Mommy vs. GB thing was not a one-off, but a sign of a much deeper attitude problem.

Would LOVE to see Weah at RB in this group. It gets our best XI on the field, and does it in a way that isn't asking people to play out of position.

What about Pulisic at RW? Given his success at Milan in that role, I'm always a bit confused that he always lines up on the left for the US.

You know I'm a long-time advocate for Pulisic at RW. I just think he's better there than any of his other spots, because it maximizes his decision-making off-ball (excellent) and minimizes his decision-making on-ball (uh, not excellent).
